It reminds us of time when the world was not so fast paced, and everyone had the time to say hello. It reminds us of craft that has been lost in modern technology. For me it's just amazing to see how all those little part work. I can not imagine putting all those little pieces together, it must have taken months if not years to make some the hand crafted watches.

There are many styles to collect. I really like the vintage moon phase watches with all the cool features, like a calendar and alarm clock. The chronograph models are pretty cool too. One of favorites brands of vintage moon phase watches are Brietling and Citizen. They are very affordable a really show the dedication that these brands have to offer. Of course if you got a little bit more money and time I would try to get a hand crafted on from the seventeen or eighteen hundreds. It will amaze you family and friends, but it will set you back a little bit.
Prices
Vintage Moonphase watches are very affordable. Some start as low as twenty dollars. Be careful because those watches often come with a lot of repairs, but that may be part of the fun for you. If you are looking at a more serious vintage moon phase watch I would check out the Breitling or Omega. Those are both great brands, but they will set you back about three to four hundred dollars depending on the model.
